Setting your preferred language

The Magister team is working on translating Magister into English. More and more parts of Magister are becoming available in English.

Setting your preferred language

To set your preference, go to your account profile. You can access it by clicking on your photo, your initials or the person icon at the bottom left in Magister web.

In the 'Account' section on the left, you will see your current preferred language ('Voorkeurstaal'). You can change the preferred language using the blue pencil icon next to it.

By default, your preferred language is not set. Currently, this means it is Dutch. At the moment, the options 'Nederlands' and 'Not set' ('Niet ingesteld') are the same. This may change in the future.

If you change the language, for example to 'English', and then click 'Change', your preference will be saved.

The profile screen will immediately reflect your preference. Other parts of Magister will only adopt the preferred language after you log in again. If you have chosen 'English', please note that the Magister team still has a lot to translate. This is also why 'Beta' is indicated next to this language preference.
